Reserve online and pay in store, this service is FREE.

  • Fast - Most 'Click and Collect' orders will be ready for collection on the same day.
  • Orders are dealt with between 9am - 5pm when the stores are open for business.
  • Call first to check stock levels.
  • Where possible our staff will assist you in loading your trailer/vehicle with oversized or heavy items.

Click & Collect is available for most of the items on our website.  We will contact you when your order is ready for collection. Orders are often available to collect same day. Please note where products are not in stock this may take a few days. If you have a query then please contact us and quote the order number. There's more information on our Click & Collect page.
 

Orders are processed daily and when items are in stock they will be dispatched the same day, Monday-Friday, no dispatch or delivery Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. Some delivery services have a 2.00 p.m. cut off time and orders received after this time may not be dispatched until the following day, however if you require an item urgently, please ring us on 01630 652641 and we will do our best to help. We keep stock of over 1500 items for immediate dispatch, and can supply thousands more within 2 -3 working days. Some items may have a longer lead time, for example special order and personalised items. These are clearly marked as special order. Please contact us for delivery times on these items. 

International orders

If you are ordering from outside the UK please contact us first with your enquiry to check the postage costs.  Shipping charges to other destinations are calculated according to weight of parcel and country and can only be given after the order has been accepted.
 

Prices & VAT

 All prices displayed are in GB pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. The prices and terms and conditions set out on our website are correct at the time of display online. We take care to avoid errors in the information and prices displayed, but where the product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
 

Returns

We hope you won't need to return an item to us, but if your order is damaged or incorrect, or the part you have ordered is not what you expected, let us know and we will refund your money or replace the item. (You must notify us within 28 working days of delivery. We may ask you to return it to us unused in the original packaging, and in the condition in which you received it).

We can't replace items or offer refunds where items are returned after 28 days, or on damaged items not notified to us within 1 week.

If you change your mind or have purchased an inappropriate product for whatever reason, return the unused item(s) in appropriate packaging accompanied with the receipt / invoice within 28 days of delivery to you, and we will be pleased to offer you an exchange or refund.

You must contact us by telephone 01630 652641, by email at shop@talbotwharf.co.uk or in person, within this 28 working day period if you wish to return goods. You will need to tell us the date when you bought it and an order, reference or invoice number. All returns including any display packaging should be in perfect condition. The cost of returning goods is at the Buyer's expense. Returns outside this 28 working day period are at the company's discretion, unless the item is defective.

The company cannot be held responsible for loss or damage in transit so we recommend that you package your items carefully and obtain a "Proof of Posting" receipt from the Post Office or courier. All returns must include a copy of the invoice or clearly identify the invoice number.

On receipt of goods by the company, you will be given a full refund of all monies paid minus any carriage charges that we have incurred in delivering, and this may take up to 30 days. All returns will be credited subject to a 10% handling charge.

 

Specifications

Every effort has been made to ensure that product descriptions are correct when displayed; however technical data, dimensions and weights serve as a guide only. Sometimes product specifications may change, in such instances we'll do our very best to inform you when placing your order. All our sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure they are as accurate as possible. No guarantee is given or implied that the goods will confirm in absolute detail to the description or illustrations published. All products are subject to availability.

As we sell over the counter as well as online an item may occasionally sell out before we can update the website with availability. If there is likely to be a delay before more stock is received we will notify you, and you will have the option of cancelling your order with a full refund. We are always pleased to check stock levels for you before you place your order, and can reserve your item for an agreed time pending your payment, at no extra charge. Should the item you order not be available we will not send a substitute item without your prior agreement.

 

Payment

Payment can be made securely using one of the following methods: credit or debit card online (all transactions are processed securely by PayPal); credit or debit card over the phone; cheque, cash or card in person. Please make sure all details are correct with expiry date, security code, full name, account holder/delivery address & e-mail address. Your order will not be dispatched until cleared payment is received in full.
 

UK Destinations

We can deliver to any UK address, although delivery to non-mainland or remote areas may take longer and/or incur an extra charge.

Parcels are delivered by Royal Mail, Parcelforce or Yodel, and the driver will require a signature. If this is not possible we can re-schedule or dispatch to an alternative address.

Your confirmation email will state the delivery method and include tracking details where applicable.

Your parcel can also be delivered at a weekend or at a specified time. Please ask for a quote.

These shipping charges do not apply to items marked as for store collection only. If you require shipping on these items please ask for a quote. We can only ship these items in certain circumstances and the full amount quoted will be charged in addition to the item price. Some items cannot be shipped owing to size/weight or hazardous nature.

Damaged goods

All your goods should arrive in perfect condition; however any loss or damage to the goods is to be reported within 24 hours after receipt. It is your responsibility to inspect the goods delivered for damage before signing for them. You should refuse delivery if the goods can be seen to be damaged. Holidays Afloat Ltd will not be liable for shortages or defects that are not reported within 24 hours following the receipt of goods.

If goods are returned to us due to not being able to deliver we will immediately refund you for your goods but we will retain your postage costs.

 

Late delivery

Once goods have been dispatched Holidays Afloat Ltd will not be responsible for any loss whatsoever in the event of late or incomplete delivery of goods. Late delivery will not be accepted as a breach of contract.

If goods ordered have not been delivered to you within 14 days of the dispatch date given to you, you must notify us of this. If you do not notify us, then we will not accept any liability for the loss of the goods.

 

Faulty products

All Goods are sold with manufacturer’s warranty unless specified otherwise. We check each item before shipping but occasionally a fault will not become apparent until the item is used. If your item does develop a fault through normal use you will need to contact us in the first instance with details of the fault and the original order date or reference. The item may need to be returned to us and we will replace, repair or issue a credit note at our discretion. You may also be credited the cost of returning the item, again at our discretion. This does not apply to  faults that arise as a result of improper or incorrect fitting or use, or modification. If you are not sure how to use an item correctly please ask.

 

Privacy

Holidays Afloat Ltd does not disclose buyers' information to third parties.

Data collected by this site is used to:

  1. 1Take and fulfil customer orders.
  2. Administer and enhance the site and service.
  3. Only disclose information to third parties for goods delivery purposes.

Force majeure

The company reserves the right to cancel, suspend or vary the operation of contract of sale if events occur which are in the nature of force majeure including (but not limited to) fire, flood, storms, strikes, lock outs, riot, hostilities or any other event outside the control of the company.

The company shall not be held liable for any breach of contract resulting from such an event.
 

Legal construction

In these terms and conditions: "Company" means Holidays Afloat Limited. Talbot Wharf is a trading name of Holidays Afloat Ltd. "Buyer" means the customer who places an order and to whom the Company agrees to supply goods. "Goods" means any product or services supplied by the Company.  “Price” means the price shown on this website.

These terms and conditions are subject to the law of England and Wales. Items advertised on this website should be considered as an invitation to treat. Any variation to these Conditions shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by the Company.
