Carols by the Canal
Monday, 30 July 2012 | Admin
This event was so successful last year, with over 500 visitors meeting Santa and joining in the fun, that we just had to do it all again in 2012.
It seems a bit strange to be talking about Christmas at this time of year, but we're planning ahead!
Here's a quick update of some of the things that will be happening on the 8th December:
*Santa will arrive on his narrowboat, decorated with Christmas lights
*a huge Christmas tree
*lots of Christmas lights
*Trentham Brass band playing Carols
*mulled wine and warm mince pies
*games for the children while they're waiting for Santa to arrive
*shopping opportunities: Christmas cakes, cookies and mince pies
*local traders and their wares
*hot food from Buttercross Farm
*floating Christmas lanterns
We'd love to see visiting boats decorated for the evening as well.
